Sometimes I really feel like I’m kind of mystical… This is my first time in Japan, and the first day after I landed there was an earthquake, then this morning there was another huge one (I’m flying back tomorrow). They say these are among the bigger ones in recent years, and it just happens that Japan’s visa fees started going up in July. What does any of this even mean? 🫪 I’m not just messing around with “being abstract”—the more I think about it, the more scared I feel… 🫪
