ME AI News: Rank One Computing Corporation (ROC), a US company specializing in visual AI in biometrics, video analytics, and decision intelligence, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Zuccaro Technical Consulting LLC (ZTC). ZTC develops digital forensics solutions and provides professional software engineering services for US federal government clients. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, with an effective date of June 23, 2026, subject to customary conditions. ROC will pay a $500k upfront payment and approximately $2.5 million in restricted common stock, along with performance-based earnouts. Upon completion, ZTC will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of ROC. The acquisition aims to strengthen ROC's end-to-end investigation platform by combining ROC's existing visual AI and biometric capabilities with ZTC's digital forensics expertise, enhancing services for law enforcement and government clients.
