According to French media Ouest-France, the Nantes gendarmerie investigation department has uncovered a network that provided stolen vehicles to organized crime, with 18 people currently involved. The report states that the network was remotely directed by a mastermind serving time in a Paris prison, and since the summer of 2025, they have carried out approximately 60 car burglaries in the Loire-Atlantique, Morbihan, and surrounding areas. The stolen vehicles were then handed over to specialized criminal groups for use in cryptocurrency-related shootings and kidnapping cases.
