The U.S. Department of Justice reached a settlement with Trump, permanently prohibiting the IRS from auditing Trump's past tax returns.

ME News, May 20 (UTC+8), the U.S. Department of Justice has signed an agreement announcing that it will "permanently ban" the IRS from reviewing past tax returns submitted by President Trump, his family, and his companies. The Department of Justice also agreed to set up a fund of nearly $1.8 billion to compensate Trump allies who have been "unjustly prosecuted." (Source: ODAILY)
