📊 Wednesday US Stock Market Notes | 2026.06.24

The Dollar Index touched 101.67, just a hair away from the 52-week high of 101.8. Gold directly dropped 2%, GC crashed to 4045. S&P +0.28%, Nasdaq +0.21%, as calm as if nothing happened.

Q closed at 714, +0.15%. Above, 748 is the previous high, and below, 700 is the round number. There’s not much resistance in between—if it really falls, it will be fast.

I’m not sure if the dollar can break through 101.8 this time. But if it does, the tech sector’s guidance for next quarter will have to be redone from scratch. The market hasn’t started calculating this yet.

Gold is testing the waters for the stock market. Let’s see if the market listens.
