What launched

How it works: xStocks
Gate xStocks is the dedicated zone for tokenized versions of real stocks. Each token, like AAPLX for Apple or TSLAX for Tesla, is fully backed 1:1 by an actual share held in custody through regulated issuer Backed Finance. Buy 0.5 AAPLX and you hold exposure to half a real Apple share. Tokens are on-chain, transferable to personal wallets, and tradable like any crypto asset.
Initial rollout began July 2025 with eight majors: Apple, Tesla, Alphabet, Nvidia, Meta, Robinhood, Coinbase, and SPYX, all quoted in USDT. The lineup expanded to include MSTRX, CRCLx, NVDAx, TSLAx, AAPLx, plus sector tokens covering AI, aerospace, consumer, and ETFs.
