On 24 June 2026, I decided to add Litecoin (LTC) to my spot portfolio. I entered the trade at $75.89, believing that LTC still had room for growth and could remain one of the stronger long-standing digital assets in the market.

Since buying, I have continued to hold the position instead of reacting to every short-term price movement. At the moment, LTC is trading around $42.12. This means the market price is currently below my entry level, so if I were to sell today, I would lock in a loss compared with my original purchase.

Even though the position is currently negative, I have chosen not to panic. Crypto markets are known for strong cycles, and many positions spend time below entry before recovering. For me, this trade is a reminder that investing is not always a straight line upward.

My focus remains on managing risk, staying patient, and following my original plan rather than making emotional decisions based on temporary price swings. I continue to monitor market conditions and evaluate whether the long-term outlook still supports my holding strategy.

For now, my Litecoin position remains open. The trade is currently showing an unrealized loss, but I am still holding and watching how the market develops in the coming months.
