#我的Gate交易时刻 It is difficult in the short term, but there is a bullish logic in the long term. The foundation restructuring is currently interpreted by the market as short-term pain, not a direct positive.

📉Short-term: Pain and uncertainty dominate

After the announcement, ETH price came under pressure and broke below the $1,700 level. The market's main concerns are two points:

· "Cost reduction" being seen as "lack of funds": layoffs of 20% (54 people), a 40% cut in budget, which some investors interpret as a warning of the foundation's financial strain.
· Ecosystem uncertainty: some core developers leaving (such as the establishment of Ethlabs), raising concerns about the progress of core development. The technical outlook is very weak, with the price suppressed by major moving averages, and key support around $1,618.

📈Long-term: Streamlining and betting on the future

But from another perspective, this is exactly the core of the long-term bullish logic:

· More sustainable finances: the goal is to reduce annual expenses from 15% of the treasury to 5% after 2030, shifting to a more sustainable "donation fund" model to avoid continuous ETH sell-offs.
· Faster execution efficiency: streamlining the architecture aims to reduce bureaucracy, allowing core protocol upgrades (like Strawmap) to be implemented more quickly. Solana co-founder also sees this as a "bullish" signal, as budget constraints will make the team more focused.

💎Summary: The disagreement lies in whether "execution" can be fulfilled

In the short term, it depends on whether ETH can hold the key psychological level of $1,600; in the long term, it depends on whether the restructuring can deliver on the promise of "faster upgrades" and whether it can maintain dominance in stablecoins and RWA (real-world asset tokenization).
