CLARITY Act: House Sets July 17 NY Field Hearing
The House Financial Services Committee has scheduled a CLARITY Act field hearing for July 17 in New York.
This is a subcommittee field hearing, not a vote or markup. The House already passed the bill a year ago. The real catalyst is the Senate, where it sits on the calendar after a 15-9 committee vote, stuck on ethics provisions and Section 604.
Watch for a Senate floor vote before the August recess. That is the decision point, not this hearing.
