Irish drug lord “Lost”’s 10-year-old Bitcoin stirs again as 500 BTC is transferred, worth approximately $38 million

ME News Report, May 20 (UTC+8), according to Arkham monitoring, the Bitcoin associated with Irish drug lord Clifton Collins, previously believed to be "permanently lost," has been transferred again. Clifton Collins was once a beekeeper, later arrested for drug trafficking. Between 2011 and 2012, he purchased approximately $30k worth of Bitcoin, which now has an asset value approaching $400 million. Due to his claim of losing the private key, this batch of BTC has long been considered unrecoverable by the outside world. However, a month ago, 500 BTC from this batch was transferred for the first time after being dormant for 10 years. The latest data shows another 500 BTC has been transferred again, worth approximately $38 million at current prices. (Source: BlockBeats)
