When ETH consolidates, it's the easiest time to wear out traders' patience. This kind of sideways market actually tests people a lot. If it can't go up, traders want to position early. If it can't go down, they're afraid of missing a breakout. After several rounds of oscillation, people tend to open trades frequently. But sideways movement isn't without information. It’s important to observe: whether the volatility range has narrowed, whether the upper boundary tests with increased volume, whether the lower boundary quickly recovers after a pullback, and whether funds are exiting or waiting for a direction. Many people lose money in sideways markets not because they are wrong about the direction, but because they make too many moves without clear signals. A mature trading system should be able to identify the phase when it’s time to wait. Sometimes, not trading itself is a strategy.
