Ethereum Foundation is cutting its budget by roughly 40% and reducing staff by about 20% as it shifts toward a leaner endowment-style structure. The foundation confirmed 54 role cuts and a seven-cluster structure. Vitalik Buterin called the cuts a deliberate trade, while Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko said the smaller foundation will move faster.
