The price of Bitcoin (BTC) dropped below $63,000 USD on June 23, as investors withdrew their funds from tech stocks that led the markets higher for most of the year. The digital currency's price was around $62,840 USD, down 1.1% over 24 hours and 3.5% over the week.
Selling extended to most of the cryptocurrency market. The price of Ethereum (ETH) decreased by 0.9% to $1,719, recording a 3.3% decline over the week. The price of XRP (XRP) fell by 1.6% to $1.12, marking a weekly loss of 9%. The price of Solana (SOL) dropped by 3.4% to $71, while Dogecoin (DOGE) decreased by 6.6% over seven days. Conversely, Tron (TRX) was the only winning currency, rising by 1.3% during the day and 4.6% over the week.
