Buy 52,203 ETH, Bitmine Has Already Controlled 4.7% of the Global ETH Supply
Bitmine, through its official release, announced ownership of crypto assets, cash, and corporate investments totaling $10.7 billion as of Monday (6/22). This value is supported by 5,672,956 ETH worth $8.2 billion, after the company purchased an additional 52,203 ETH in the past week. Thanks to this move, Bitmine now controls 4.7% of the total global ETH supply and reinforces its position as the number one Ethereum treasury in the world.
In addition to Ethereum holdings, Bitmine's portfolio also includes ownership of 205 Bitcoin, investments in Eightco Holdings and Beast Industries, as well as cash balances of $601 million. Bitmine Chairman, Thomas "Tom" Lee, explained that of the total ETH owned, 4.7 million tokens have been allocated to staking programs through the institutional platform MAVAN. This asset allocation is projected to generate an annual yield of up to $223 million to strengthen the company's long-term liquidity.
Tom Lee stated that the accumulation step throughout 2026 is on the right momentum.
"The best future for crypto still lies ahead, in our view. Tokenization and rapid advances in AI are expected to drive exponential growth in demand for blockchain and decentralized crypto," he said.
