Swiss veteran institution secures MiCAR license, adding another strong player to Europe's compliance battlefield

Wu Says learned that Bitcoin Suisse’s European entity, Bitcoin Suisse (Europe) AG, has obtained a MiCAR license as a crypto asset service provider (CASP) granted by the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority (FMA). According to information on the FMA official website, the company has been authorized to operate as a CASP starting from June 22, 2026. Bitcoin Suisse said the license will enable it to serve customers in certain markets within the European Economic Area (EEA), and has appointed Roman Przibylla as CEO to oversee its European expansion.
