SBI Group will be issuing a Japanese yen stablecoin as early as this week.

ME News Report, June 23 (UTC+8), SBI Group is expected to issue the yen-pegged stablecoin JPYSC within this week. It has previously received approval from Japan's Financial Services Agency to issue Japan's first trust-type yen stablecoin. JPYSC will be issued by SBI Shinsei Trust Bank as the issuer, and SBI VC Trade will be responsible for trading and circulation. SBI plans to integrate it with financial services within the group, including securities, asset management, and banking, to enhance user convenience. (Source: Foresight News)
