ME News. June 23 (UTC+8): Iranian President Pezeshkian posted on social media on the 23rd saying that the outcome of negotiations between Iran and the United States depends on a comprehensive commitment to defined obligations and specific implementation. Progress along this path will be measured by actual compliance with established responsibilities. Statements outside the text of the agreement will not help move the negotiations forward. The United States and Iran held their first round of talks in Switzerland on the 21st, and all parties agreed to reach a final agreement within 60 days. On June 22, the day the first round of negotiations concluded, U.S. President Trump said at the White House, “If Iran does not comply with the agreement, I will do what I have to do.” (Source: ODAILY)
