Apple's recent moves left me stunned. Real wallet developers are being blocked, while fake apps are openly listed in the store. Who is really responsible for user safety?

According to Protos, Bitcoin wallet Sparrow Wallet developer Craig Raw stated that Apple has demanded he resolve account issues by June 30, or his Apple Developer account could be terminated. Raw said that the placeholder app he previously submitted to the App Store was only to remind users that Sparrow is only available as a desktop version, and the mobile Sparrow might be counterfeit software. Raw mentioned that since 2023, more than ten fake Sparrow apps have appeared on the App Store, some of which trick users into entering wallet recovery phrases. Protos reported that Apple has not publicly responded to Raw's claims.
