Why do some people look better and better as they age, while others look worse? Because time not only changes facial features, but also amplifies a person’s inner state. People who live long-term in anxiety, resentment, and scarcity will slowly have their emotions etched into their expressions; whereas those who can digest pain, enhance their understanding, and keep their love, will transform their experiences into presence. The so-called “the face reflects the mind” is not metaphysics—it’s a person’s cognition and life state, which will ultimately show on their face.
