According to Samsung, the company developed its first-ever Universal Flash Storage (UFS) 5.0 mobile storage product on June 23, which is more than twice as fast as its UFS 4.1 standard. The new solution offers over 40% improvement in energy efficiency compared to its predecessor, with dimensions of 7.5 mm x 13 mm x 0.9 mm, representing a 16.7% reduction in size. Samsung will offer storage capacities of up to 1 TB.
