Emotional awareness × expression control × scene adaptation
Only being able to read others' words and expressions but not control your own expression is sensitivity.
Only being able to control your expression but not perceive others' feelings is smoothness.
Only being kind to others but not discerning the appropriate context is people-pleasing.
Having all three simultaneously is true mature interpersonal skills.
