#GateProofOfReservesReport

Gate regularly shows that all user funds are fully backed in its wallets. This is called Proof of Reserves. Simply put: for every $1 users deposit, Gate holds more than $1 in its cold wallets.
According to the latest public reports:
In the August 2025 report, total reserves reached $12.02 billion. Excess reserves were $2.32 billion, giving a reserve ratio of 123.98%. This report covered more than 400 user assets.
In the October 2025 report, total reserves were reported at $11.676 billion. The reserve ratio rose to 124%, and the number of covered assets reached nearly 500 types.
In an earlier check, the July 2024 report showed total reserves of $10.504 billion, with excess reserves of $2.17 billion.
This data is updated regularly. The March 2026 Transparency Report also confirmed that the reserve ratio was being maintained at 122%, with user numbers passing 51 million and derivatives market share at 12.2%.
How is this verified? Gate uses zk-SNARK zero-knowledge proof technology and a Merkle Tree structure. That means you can check your own balance without seeing other users' info. In addition, CertiK, in an independent audit for Gate Dubai, confirmed 100% collateralization for 10 cryptocurrencies.
What does this mean? A reserve ratio of 124% means that for every $100 users deposit, Gate holds $124 in its wallets. The difference acts as a safety buffer, so that all users can be paid out even in the event of heavy withdrawals.
If you want to check it yourself: go to the Proof of Reserves page on Gate.com, enter your UID, and verify your balance with the Merkle proof. It takes less than a minute.
In short, Gate holds $11.6 – $12 billion in reserves in its latest public reports, with a coverage ratio of 122% – 124%, and opens hundreds of assets up for individual verification. That is the same assurance for users trading crypto spot as it is for users trading gold CFDs and other TradFi products.
