I saw a video. The teacher took out something and asked the audience, "Who wants it?" Almost everyone raised their hands. But what's truly interesting isn't that they want it, but that they all sat in place with their hands raised, as if the power to decide was entirely in the teacher's hands, as if they could only wait to be chosen. Many people's biggest misconception isn't that they're not good enough, but that they are always waiting to be selected. Waiting for others to give opportunities, waiting for others to approve, waiting for someone to notice them. But the real rule of the world is exactly the opposite. If you want to be seen, step forward proactively; if you want to be heard, speak out actively; if you want to be valued, create value proactively. Don't leave your life in the hands of others to decide. Because most of the time, no one will come to choose you. You must first choose yourself.
