ME News Report, April 22 (UTC+8), someone comforted him by saying "The pressure is so high, but in a way, it's also a good thing." Altman responded at the time, "At least no one wants to kill me." The next day, a Molotov cocktail was thrown at his house. Altman said this incident "gave everything a reference point": as long as people only say unpleasant things online, it’s not a big deal. He did not elaborate on the details of the attack, only saying "there will be more similar incidents," then shifted the topic back to work. Altman's residence was attacked twice in succession on April 10 and 12. The first involved a 20-year-old man, Daniel Moreno-Gama, throwing a Molotov cocktail at the house’s front door, which security personnel quickly extinguished, with no injuries. Moreno-Gama was later arrested near OpenAI headquarters, carrying anti-AI declarations, facing multiple serious charges including attempted murder and arson. Federal agents later found more materials at his Texas residence. Two days later, in the early hours of April 12, a Honda car drove past Altman’s house, and a passenger inside fired a shot. Two suspects, Amanda Tom and Muhamad Tarik Hussein, were arrested on suspicion of accidental shooting, with three guns recovered. Police stated that the suspects in the two incidents are not connected. (Source: BlockBeats)
