Today’s share: Have you noticed that in the past two years, everyone has been talking about AI.

AI writing copy, AI making videos, AI doing work for you. At first, you’re excited, feeling more efficient, fewer tasks. But gradually, you start to feel a bit anxious. You wonder, if it can do my job, then why do I need to?

Today I want to discuss a question many are struggling with—AI and blockchain, who is truly the future?

I'll give you the answer directly. Both. But 90% of people have mixed up their roles.

Most people's view of the script is like this—AI is the protagonist, blockchain is the sidekick. AI is the hero changing the world, blockchain is the blurry background that no one understands or can figure out.

But the real script is the opposite.

What is AI? AI is efficiency. It makes your work faster, your decisions more accurate, your life more convenient. It’s a super tool. You can think of it as a sports car. Is a sports car good? Very good. One press of the accelerator, and you’re ten times faster than others.

But here’s the problem. No matter how fast the sports car runs, it can’t solve one question—who built this road? Where does this road lead? How much toll does this road charge?

That’s what blockchain is doing. Blockchain is the rules.

AI makes you run faster. Blockchain decides whose track you’re running on, and who gets the credit for your performance.

Think about it carefully. The AI tools you’re using now—whose are they? Someone else’s. The data you upload, who do you feed it to? Someone else’s model. The results you produce with AI, where do you put them? On someone else’s servers. The higher your efficiency, the more data you contribute, the stronger the platform becomes. One day, if the platform changes a rule, you might not even be able to log into your account.

You work hard to run fast, but the track is built by others, and the finish line is set by others.

That’s why 90% of people have it backwards. They only see AI’s efficiency, but not the underlying thing behind efficiency—who sets the rules, who controls everything.

What is the truly smart combination? Use blockchain to set the rules, and AI to run for efficiency.

In the world of Web3, AI is an open tool you can call upon, not a territory owned by a single company to collect rent. Your data belongs to you, your identity belongs to you, and the value you create with AI is confirmed and owned through blockchain. You are both the user and the beneficiary.

At this point, I think of a quote from Kevin Kelly. He said, “The future is already here, it’s just unevenly distributed.”

This sentence is so precise. AI has arrived, and everyone is using it. But the future where AI and blockchain combine—only about 500 million people are evenly distributed across it. Out of 8 billion people worldwide, only 500 million are beginning to understand the true power of this combination. The remaining 7.5 billion are still running on someone else’s track, sweating profusely.

I’m not denying AI. AI is incredible. It might be the greatest tool in human history. But the more powerful the tool, the more you need to ask—who is this tool serving?

If your answer is “serving me,” then you need a set of rules to ensure it truly serves you. And these rules are what Web3 is building.

You don’t necessarily have to be a tech expert. But you must understand this trend. Because a trend isn’t for chasing; it’s for positioning yourself early.

If you want to see how the combination of AI and blockchain will change the world, I recommend a book—“Web3 Illustrated.” It won’t teach you complex code; it’s like someone drawing a map, telling you which road leads to efficiency, which road leads to rules, and where the true future is—at the intersection of these two roads.

Don’t be the one running the fastest but in the wrong direction.
