Switzerland Meeting Put on Hold While Key Issues Stay Unresolved
A highly anticipated meeting between US and Iranian officials in Switzerland has been postponed, slowing momentum behind a recently signed memorandum of understanding.
Officials from the White House described the change as the result of logistical challenges, while Vice President JD Vance withdrew from the planned visit. At the same time, the Iranian side delayed travel amid continuing military strikes in southern Lebanon, highlighting how events beyond the meeting room can shape diplomacy.
