🧵 The misconception about the meaning of risk management by others

Not every buy recommendation has a stop loss... meaning risk management
You're wrong... before thinking about profit or goals
Ask yourself first...
What is the percentage of loss if the trade fails? 👀
This is where real trading begins 🤝
But if the recommendation is presented with a stop loss of -20% or more...
Then for me, it's not a technical recommendation... it's just a gamble
If it succeeds, they say congratulations 🎉
And if it loses, they say better luck next time 🤷‍♂️
Just imagine losing -25% in every trade
How many trades do you need for your portfolio to be significantly depleted or to recover?
The problem is that some focus on potential profits, and forget the level of risk in front of them
Risk management is not just words written at the end of the recommendation... but a complete management and chart reading before the entry
Risk management starts before entering the trade in the first place...
As for risking a large percentage of capital hoping the market will reverse upward...
That is not risk management... that is a financial gamble no matter what it's called 🤝
