Golden Finance reports that on June 18th, according to Front Office Sports, Tarek Mansour, co-founder of the prediction market platform Kalshi, stated in an interview that he does not consider Polymarket to be a major competitor. Instead, Polymarket should be "brought under regulatory oversight," as its recent scandals have damaged industry reputation. Honestly, when I think about competition, I don’t focus on Polymarket as much as I do on some other platforms; we face a large number of competitors. CME Group (which helped FanDuel launch its own prediction market product last year) and Robinhood are two other competing platforms. Over the past year, the industry has grown rapidly, with companies like DraftKings, Novig, and Coinbase also launching prediction market platforms.
