The dust has settled on the Federal Reserve meeting—what changes are there, and what impact will they have? Sister Luo will briefly explain it to you all.

At this Federal Reserve meeting, although interest rates didn’t move, the signals released are somewhat bearish for the crypto market.
#美联储四度维持利率不变
After the meeting results came out, Bitcoin’s “big move” dropped by over 1% in the short term, hitting a low of around $64,100. Ethereum also fell to $1,730. Over the past 24 hours, the total liquidation amount across the whole network reached $435 million, with more than 100,000 people liquidated.
Why did the crypto market fall even though interest rates didn’t change? Because what the market fears most isn’t whether “interest rates stay the same,” but that expectations are missed. People were originally hoping the Fed would cut rates this year, but the Federal Reserve directly released three “hawkish” signals:
#美联储主席鲍威尔讲话
1、Rate cuts are unlikely: The statement removed all hints that future rate cuts are coming.
2、It could even mean rate hikes: Among 18 officials, 9 think a rate hike this year is possible.
3、Inflation is still high: The 2026 inflation forecast was raised directly from 2.7% to 3.6%.
The new chair, Wosch, immediately did something big—scrapping the Federal Reserve’s “guidance habit.”
#美联储维持利率3.5%-3.75%
Previously, the Federal Reserve would give the market a “roadmap” in advance, telling everyone roughly how interest rates would move in the future. Now Wosch says: “We won’t do this anymore. Everything will depend on real-time data.”
So what does that mean? In the future, market volatility may be even larger, because everyone no longer has a “script”—they can only watch the newly released economic data every day and guess. Bitcoin’s wild swings could become commonplace.
The market will need time to digest this bad news, and over the next few weeks the pattern will likely be choppy and somewhat weak.
Bitcoin is repeatedly trading around $64,000—support at $63,500 must be held, while resistance is at $66,500–$67,000.
