💰 In 2009, Kristofer Koch, a Norwegian engineering student, was working on a thesis about cryptography when he discovered a budding project called Bitcoin...

At the time, almost no one was interested in it. Curious but far from convinced, he still decided to buy about $27 worth of BTC.
This amount allowed him to acquire nearly 5,000 bitcoins when each unit was worth less than a cent.
After storing his cryptocurrencies in a wallet on his computer, he moved on, finished his studies, and completely forgot about their existence.
Four years later, in 2013, an article about the spectacular surge in Bitcoin's price caught his attention. Suddenly, he remembered that purchase made years earlier.
Excited, he retrieved the old computer and discovered that the wallet file was still there.
But he had forgotten the password...
After several attempts, he thought he had lost access to his fortune forever. Finally, after some reflection, he found the right combination.
When he opened his wallet, his 5,000 BTC were now worth about $850,000.
He used part of that money to buy an apartment in one of Oslo's most expensive neighborhoods and an electric car.
The rest, he chose to keep, convinced that Bitcoin was still in its early days...
