In public, don't be afraid of others' gaze. If someone is watching, look back. Often, what makes people uneasy isn't others' eyes, but our default assumption that we are being judged. When you no longer rush to prove yourself and no longer fear being misunderstood, a gaze is just a gaze, no longer a pressure.
