In the investment market, during an uptrend, there is only one opportunity to buy at the highest point; if you buy at any other time, in the long run it is still very likely to be profitable. And during a downtrend, there is only one chance to buy at the lowest point; if you buy at any other time, you may ultimately face losses. Many people spend all their effort searching for the perfect entry point, but they overlook the fact that the outcome is often determined not by the price itself, but by the direction of the trend. Those who follow the trend can still make money even if their entry isn’t perfect; those who go against the trend may keep buying but keep getting more and more in the red even if they buy at a bargain.
