Why do men in modern society always say women are emotional, and women always say men are irresponsible?

Agricultural era: Land was the core asset, physical strength was the main productive force, and the family itself was a production unit, so marriage was more like an economic organization. Men were responsible for acquiring resources, women for maintaining the family and extending the lineage, with the most important being division of labor.
Industrial era: Factories gradually replaced family production, wages became the main source of income, and marriage began shifting from a production community to a living community.
Internet and AI era: Individuals are increasingly able to create value independently, women no longer need to depend on men for survival, and men no longer naturally hold resource advantages. The core of marriage is shifting from a division of labor to a partnership. In the past, people needed marriage to solve survival issues; today, it’s more about finding companions for shared values, emotions, and growth.
The problem is that old rules are failing, but new rules have not yet formed. Many men still believe that fulfilling their economic responsibilities is enough, while many women expect their partners to also provide emotional value, companionship, and understanding. Both sides feel they have given a lot but also feel the other has not met their expectations. As a result, men think women are emotional, women think men are irresponsible.
In fact, behind many gender conflicts, it’s not about who is right or wrong, but about both sides still understanding relationships in the new era with old maps. The world has never been a static balance but is constantly swaying and adjusting in search of a new equilibrium. The same applies to gender relations.
