CryptoWorld News reports that the U.S. CFTC Chairman Michael S. Selig has appointed Donald Battle as Chief Data Innovation Officer, and J Matthew Haws as Senior Advisor to the Chairman's Office and Head of the Chicago Region. Donald Battle will serve in the Data Division and Innovation Working Group, having previously been a Senior Advisor to the SEC Crypto Task Force and Assistant Director of the Enforcement Data Science Team. J Matthew Haws, formerly a Senior Legal Advisor at Marex and a Partner at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, will be responsible for regulatory and market compliance affairs in the Chicago office.
