Aziz’s words are quite to the point: the U.S. is fighting and negotiating at the same time, trying to use bargaining chips outside the battlefield to cover losses within it. But Iran isn’t what it used to be—whether high-pressure tactics can work is really hard to say.

CryptoWorld News: U.S. President Trump announced on June 11th that the U.S. military would "strike very hard" against Iran that evening, then later said the operation was canceled. Prior to that, for two consecutive days, U.S. forces launched attacks on multiple locations in Iran. In response to U.S. actions, Iran's Islamic Parliament National Security Committee Chairman Ebrahim Azizi told the media on June 11th that the recent exchanges between the U.S. and Iran should not be viewed as "war," but rather as "U.S. pressure tactics to achieve its goals." Azizi pointed out that, in fact, what the U.S. is pursuing now is to use military pressure to support negotiations, in order to obtain demands they failed to achieve on the battlefield. Iran states that the U.S. must accept that Iran is no longer the same as in the past. Azizi emphasized that the U.S. must accept that today’s Iran has changed from the past; after being tempered by war, Iran has reached new heights in military, defense, political, and even economic aspects.
