Human Protocol: $36 million stolen due to management key breach
According to a report from CoinBureau, the Human Protocol was compromised after the private keys of multiple foundation members were breached, resulting in the theft of more than 36 million H tokens. The attack originated from a compromised employee laptop, through which the attackers obtained keys related to the bridge management system. On June 8, a coordinated attack was carried out on the Ethereum and BNB Chain, transferring ownership of the Hyperlane bridge contract and minting 200,000,005 H tokens. On-chain analysis indicates that more than 17 related wallets were emptied, with losses increasing from about $19 million to over $30 million; the current total loss has already exceeded $20 million.
