Wu Shuo learned that the founder of SlowMist, Yu Xian, posted an analysis stating that the attack on Asterix (ASTX) today is similar to earlier incidents such as Flooring Protocol and BMP in terms of tactics. The underlying protocols involved are DN404 and BT404, and both are suspected to be related to “upper-position NFT ID displacement operation overflow reuse.” Yu Xian reminded that the attackers may be searching for commonalities among vulnerabilities of the same kind. Asterix’s official team previously confirmed that the ASTX token contract was attacked, and it is currently investigating the root cause of the vulnerability, and will release a complete post-incident analysis.
