Golden Finance reports that on June 8th, Alibaba announced the merger of the Tongyi Large Model Business Unit and the Future Life Laboratory, establishing the Token Foundry Business Unit, directly overseen by Group CEO Wu Yongming. It is understood that this adjustment involves a batch of AI businesses. Zhou Jingren will serve as Alibaba's Chief Scientist, leading the establishment of Alibaba AI Future Research Institute, focusing on the exploration and breakthroughs in cutting-edge AI technology.
