I still remember the first time I clicked “buy” on a US stock. Felt like I was buying a tiny piece of the future.

Today that future has a name: NVIDIA. The chips powering AI, gaming, self-driving cars, and pretty much every “what if” we talk about.

Holding US stocks taught me 3 things:
1. *Patience > timing*. You don’t need to catch the bottom. You need to stay long enough to let compounding do its thing.
2. *Conviction matters*. Everyone laughed at “graphics cards” years ago. Now those same cards are training the models we use daily.
3. *Access is power*. Being able to own a slice of companies building tomorrow, from Bangalore, is wild. No passport needed.

I’m not a fund manager. Just someone who started small, kept learning, and let winners run. NVIDIA is one of those “run” stories for me.

If you’re still on the sidelines, start with what you understand. Read the product, not just the price. The market rewards curiosity.
