Nvidia Partners with LG to Develop Humanoid Robots and AI Infrastructure
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang revealed that his company has partnered with LG Group to develop humanoid robot technology and data center infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence (AI).
This collaboration is part of Nvidia's strategy to expand AI applications across various industry sectors, including manufacturing, automation, and large-scale computing. Humanoid robots are considered one of the main growth areas in the tech industry due to their potential use for a variety of tasks previously performed by humans.
In this partnership, Nvidia will provide AI computing technology, software platforms, and the infrastructure needed to support the development of next-generation robots. Meanwhile, LG Group will leverage its manufacturing expertise and industrial ecosystem to accelerate the implementation of these technologies.
In addition to humanoid robots, the two companies will also collaborate on building and developing AI data centers. This infrastructure is becoming increasingly important as the demand for computing power to train and run more complex AI models grows.
The demand for AI data centers has continued to rise in recent years, driven by the growth of generative AI applications, industrial automation, and the computing needs of global tech companies. This situation positions Nvidia as one of the companies most benefiting from the wave of global AI investments.
The partnership with LG Group also strengthens Nvidia's expansion in South Korea, one of the world's largest centers for technology and semiconductor industries. This collaboration demonstrates that major companies are now beginning to lay the groundwork for an AI-based robotics era, which is expected to grow rapidly in the coming decade.
