$BTC According to the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), on June 8th the FCA proposed that permitted investment funds, including UCITS plans and most non-UCITS retail schemes, can allocate up to 10% of assets to crypto exchange-traded notes (ETNs). The proposal is part of FCA Consultation Paper 52, with a consultation period ending on July 13th. The 10% limit is designed to bridge the regulatory gap between individual retail investors and permitted funds after the FCA lifts the retail crypto ETN ban for four years in August 2025.
