Codex releases major updates, fully integrating GPT-5.5 and GPT-5.3.

For developers, Codex elevates AI programming to the level of system design;
For non-developer users, Codex can soon take over browser operations, desktop management, and directly handle local files, becoming a universal AI agent.
Third-party agents like crayfish will only be intermediate forms of AI agents; in-house developed agent applications from major companies will be the mainstream in the future.
If you haven't downloaded Codex yet, hurry up and connect it to your GPT subscription, and make the most of the capabilities of large models.
Downloading Codex on Windows systems often encounters the following issues:
1. System issues
The system must be Windows 10 or 11 at minimum; older systems cannot support Codex.
2. Microsoft Store cannot open
If it cannot open, there are two solutions:
(1) Method 1: Change the VPN's UWP settings (two images of Clash)
After changing, see if Microsoft Store works normally. If it does, search for Codex, disconnect the VPN, and proceed with the download.
(2) Method 2: Offline download of the Codex installer package (two images of Microsoft offline download)
Log in to the webpage:
Enter in the URL bar:
Download the installer package with the msix extension.
Start your journey with the universal agent.
