Wu said that edgeX posted on Twitter that the first batch of goodwill compensation in USDC has been distributed to eligible users affected by the June 2nd incident.
The compensation targets users who, between 04:50 and 06:00 (UTC+8) on June 2, 2026, had their EDGE long positions on edgeX Perp V1 or V2 liquidated or triggered stop-loss, resulting in realized losses, and who have submitted a Discord support ticket.
Each user's compensation is capped at an equivalent of 100,000 USDC, with 50% paid in USDC and the remaining 50% to be paid in EDGE tokens during the first week of April 2027.
