Jordan claims multiple missiles have intruded into its airspace
Mummani said that the Jordan Public Security Bureau has activated the air defense alert system and will continue to issue necessary safety guidelines and relevant information to citizens and those in Jordan.
He stated that the Jordan Armed Forces are closely monitoring the development of regional situations, fulfilling their duties, and mobilizing all forces to protect the safety of the nation and its citizens' property.
Mummani reiterated Jordan’s warning against any party attempting to infringe upon Jordanian airspace, emphasizing that Jordan will not allow any forces to turn its territory into a battlefield for others.
On the same day, Jordanian authorities reported that in the Dhnaybeh area of Ramtha in the northern city, missile debris fell.
The report said that the missile debris landed inside a local residential yard, with some fragments affecting several nearby homes, causing property damage but no casualties.
Authorities reported that no injuries occurred at the debris fall site, and the damage was limited to material property.
Currently, Jordanian security forces have sealed off the incident area and are conducting related disposal work on-site.
