BlockBeats News, June 8 — Iran launched multiple rounds of missiles at Israel on June 7 local time, in response to the Israeli military escalation against Lebanon. This is the first direct missile attack by Iran since the ceasefire on April 8.

This marks a significant escalation in the regional situation and could undermine US-Iran negotiations, reigniting conflict. Israeli officials stated that all missiles have been intercepted so far. Some Israeli officials threatened to retaliate.

Trump advised Iran regarding this incident: "Your (Iran's) missiles have already been launched, that's enough. Now it's time to return to the negotiating table and reach an agreement." Trump also said he is about to call Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to tell him "not to retaliate." Regarding the airstrike earlier that day on the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon, Trump stated, "I am unhappy about this."
