Bitcoin Falls Below $62K as Crypto Long Liquidations Top $1.5B

Bitcoin plunged below $62,000 Thursday morning Hong Kong time as more than $1.5 billion in leveraged crypto liquidations hit the market over 24 hours. CoinGlass data showed more than 208,000 traders were liquidated. Bitcoin accounted for more than $800 million of the losses, while Ether accounted for another $386 million. SoSoValue data showed investors pulled approximately $1 billion from U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs this week.
