When I look at wallets / DeFi products now, I focus on one thing first: in case of an error, does the user know where they are stuck?


Many UIs make the "before operation" step look nice: connecting the wallet, choosing the chain, swapping, signing.
But what really determines retention is what happens after the operation:
Why is this transaction pending?
How to revoke or pause?
Is there a record to check if something went wrong?
For crypto to become a mainstream product, it’s not about adding a few more buttons, but about making the responsibilities visible.
