I just found out a few days ago.

One of my high school classmates repeated the year.
He went from a junior-college score to a score for a top-985 university.
To be honest, when I heard it, I was shocked.
I just couldn’t accept it.
After repeating a year, his score was actually higher than mine, and the school he got into was actually better than mine.
That classmate who was in the middle to lower range— the classmate I have to look up to.
He actually, somehow, had the nerve to surpass me.
Luckily, I overtook him in a curve about 10 years ago.
Otherwise, I really wouldn’t be able to accept it.
