After getting IB, I went overseas for university. So during middle school, I started applying for investment immigration to obtain overseas status. In G1, with my overseas status, I studied at a mainland international school under the IB program. All the way through G4—because I was doing business in the Philippines—I transferred to a school in the Philippines that also offered an IB curriculum. My shallow understanding is that the IB diploma is accepted by most international universities, so there are options to choose from.
