I used Gate for a month and summarized a beginner's guide

I've been trading US stocks on Gate for nearly a month, encountered some pitfalls, and compiled a few practical tips for newcomers:

1. How to choose between market order and limit order? Use a market order when you're confident; it executes immediately without hesitation. Use a limit order if you want to wait for a lower price; set it and don't need to watch the screen.
2. How to buy 0.01 shares? Simply enter 0.01 in the quantity field; the system will calculate the required USDT. Gate supports fractional shares, so even small funds can invest.
3. How to view stock depth? Click on the order book, look at the spread from the best bid to the fifth best bid. The smaller the spread, the better the liquidity. Leading stocks like NVDA have a spread of only 0.01%.
4. How to set take profit and stop loss? Currently, stock trading only supports regular limit orders. For take profit, place a sell limit order; for stop loss, place a sell order below the market price.
5. What to do if USDT is insufficient? Sell other cryptocurrencies to convert to USDT, or redeem from the financial account.
6. Why hasn't my order been filled? Check the limit order price. If you set it too low, and the stock price hasn't reached it, it won't execute. You can cancel and revise the order price. #分享美股交易赢英伟达股票
